Smash Park Announces Official Location of First Twin Cities Venue Roseville Will Be Home to Popular Pickleball Eatertainment Establishment
WEST DES MOINES, Iowa – Oct. 24, 2022 – Eatertainment destination Smash Park has confirmed details about its first Twin Cities location slated to open in the fall of 2023. With the land purchase now final, it is officially announcing Roseville as its first area location.
The future Smash Park venue will be located at Twin Lakes Station, 1743 County Road C West–about one mile north of Rosedale Center.
“Now that the land acquisition is final, we’re eager to begin construction on our first Twin Cities area location,” said Smash Park CEO Monty Lockyear. “Enthusiasm for pickleball and ‘eatertainment’ seems to grow by the day. We plan to delight area residents with fun recreation and entertainment options for every age with top-notch scratch food and drinks.”
Known for its social mix of food, drinks, and recreation – including its flagship activity, pickleball–Smash Park will have a combined indoor/outdoor space of nearly 50,000 square feet. In addition to pickleball courts, Smash Park will feature scratch-driven food, craft drinks, duckpin bowling, ax-throwing, a private karaoke “Sing Suite,” live events, and a 21-and-over “Paddle Club” with a rooftop bar.
Smash Park will be home to more than 100 TVs, both indoor and outdoor, making it the ultimate designation for sports watch parties and pay-per-view events. There will be a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the venue for hosting private events from five to 500 people.
Construction will begin in November with plans to open in the fall of 2023.
